Livefyre Launches To Gather Every Piece Of SXSW Under One Roof

Livefyre, known for its commenting systems and social communities, has launched a SXSW NewsHub ( to cover every tidbit that’s going to come out from the annual tech event at SXSW Interactive, kicking off on Friday. In a few days, South by Southwest (SXSW), the annual spring conference, will bring the best of technically creative brains to Austin, Texas, and you can expect a lot of chatter and social interactions to revolve around the conferences and events at the festival.

Livefyre’s SXSW NewsHub website is tailor-made for the SXSW event. It is a combination of multiple Livefyre technologies that will seek to integrate and compile the torrent of real-time information generated around the event. The platform’s ambition is to be a real-time guide and make every piece of social conversation interactive whether it is tweets, Instagram photos, Facebook posts, or any other social buzz that has to do with SXSW. As the site says – it is meant to be a one-stop destination for all news about SXSW Interactive.

On the platter are:

  • The Heat Index, which highlights which events are generating the most social buzz in real-time.
  • The Events Session Tracker, which covers talks, panels and keynotes in real-time.
  • A Photo Wall for live photos that are posted to Instagram and Twitter from the best happenings around SXSW.

And last but not the least, SXSW is also a huge music festival; so you can follow @Livefyre at #SXSW for clues to find their giant #Fyretruck and win VIP wristbands to the annual #Fyrebash party.

How are you going to keep up with the events at SXSW?
